Meet The Team
Here are the individuals that make the Rocco P&O mission happen – expanding the good quality of life.
In 1992, Rocco Prosthetic and Orthotic Center, Inc. (RPOC) was formed by Richard Rocco Jr., bringing over two decades of experience to the patient community. RPOC provides state of the art Prosthetic and Orthotic services. Mr. Rocco has specialized in all phases of custom and durable medical prosthetic and orthotic devices.
As a former Naval Corpsman, he brings to the practice experience and techniques unequaled in the field today. RPOC’s forte is the design and fitting of the most advanced prosthetic and orthotic designs found in the world today. Aside from his routine experience in orthotics and prosthetics, Mr. Rocco has spent 5 years providing services to the Shriner’s Burn Institute of Cincinnati. He was also a consulting Practitioner on the faculty of Northwestern University for several years. His duties included presenting semi-annual seminars for Northwestern’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Residents on fabrication, design, and fitting of devices for acute thermal injuries. He is also a treatment consultant to orthotists and prosthetists worldwide.

Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, Kentucky and began his career in the Orthotic profession in 1976 as an orthotic technician. After graduating from Northern Kentucky University in 1985, he passed the technical boards as a Certified Technician (Orthotics) from the American Board for Certification. In 1995, he passed the medical board examinations for Pedorthics, earning the title Certified
Pedorthist. Several years later, he also earned the title Certified Pedorthist from the Board for Certification. In 1998, Mr. Wilson passed the Orthotic Board Examination from the Board for Orthotic Certification earning him the title Certified Orthotist. Shortly thereafter, he earned the additional title of Orthotic Certification from The American Board for Certification. Mr. Wilson is also a licensed practitioner in Kentucky and Ohio.
Mr. Wilson has presented many public and professional lectures on Orthotics and Pedorthics. He has also taught an orthotic course at the Indiana University Medical College at Gary, Indiana as part of the International Human Cadaver Prosecution Program since 2013. As a practitioner with over 43 years of experience and maintaining the high standards of patient care and participating in ongoing continuing education, he is confident that he can address any orthotic or pedorthic need necessary to meet all his patient needs.

Kurt is an American Board Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist. He graduated with his master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Concordia University St. Paul. Kurt grew up working part-time at his father’s shop. He knew becoming a prosthetist and orthotist was something he wanted to do in the future. Working as a prosthetist/ orthotist is a natural fit for him as he enjoys working with his hands, is very analytical and enjoys helping people. He specializes in wide range of prosthetic devices from conventional to advanced microprocessors and powered devices. He and his wife live locally and have two girls Evelyn and Vivian, and have an English bulldog named Snacks.
Matt has been an orthotic and prosthetic technician for over twenty years, with his career beginning at Rocco Prosthetic and Orthotic Center. Over the years, Matt has become an expert at manufacturing, modifying and repairing all types of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Matt has also become a valuable part of the company as Lab manager, and by implementing his techniques he has save countless labor hours not only with the lab staff, but the professional staff as well. His passionate, caring and talented demeanor has earned the respect of everyone he works with including our patients.

As a sophmore in high school, Connor began making personalized assistive devices for children with disabilites. After graduating high school, Connor founded a 501(c)(3) nonproftil organization called the Hands of Hope Foundation and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cedarville University and a master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Eastern Michigan University. Through his volunteer work, Connor has gained experience working with children with spina bifida, Joubert syndrome, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and congenital limb differences. Connor also has expererience working as a prosthetic and cranial orthotic technican and his interests include CAD, additive manufacturing, upper extremity prosthetics, and pediatrics. Outside of RPOC, Connor enjoys cooking, volunteering for multiple nonprofit organizations including Hands of Hope Foundation and May We Help, and working on the Food Safety Team at Kings Island.
